Nap Woes

Okay, what's the deal?  Anytime lately I've tried to take a nap something ALWAYS happens!  Today one of Bethany's friends came by to see if she could play.  Usually it is Dallas calling me from the library, "Just to see what's going on here."  Even my Mom has been guilty of calling and messing up the nap time.  I just wanted to catch a little rest knowing that the next 6 days are going to be very busy.

One good thing that happened from this though is that I had forgotten to start the roast.  I got that done but won't be able to sleep any.  I have to pick the boys up at 4 (its 2:42 now) but if I'm not there at least 15 minutes early, Dallas starts freaking out and calling anywhere and everywhere I could be to see why I'm not there.  His poor future wife!  He doesn't mean it disrespectfully, he's just that way.  I grew up always late everywhere we went, Charlie and I both HATE to be late somewhere (we've even not showed up places because we were going to be late) and we've passed that on to at least Dallas.  The lady at the library doesn't want them even five minutes early for their work time and that drives all of us up the wall.  What kind of message does that send?  Wouldn't it be better to train them young that they should be a little early?

I had to buy shorts for this upcoming week.  I didn't want to, but Nicole (my niece) said that we absolutely needed shorts because it is very muddy at the stand.  Also, next week we're to have highs in the 90s.  Oh joy!  (read with sarcasm please)  We will be leaving sometime tomorrow (we still haven't packed yet) and will be back either late on the 4th or early on the 5th.  I don't like to be away that long so if I'm not too tired, I'll probably drive home on the 4th.
