Monday

The dog, cat, turtles and I have the house to ourselves.  It does seem a bit wierd to not hear the kids. The boys called this morning at 7:30 to give me an update.  They apologized for not calling yesterday, but their uncle lowered the goal so now they can dunk the basketball!  Sounds like all's well on that front.  I don't expect to hear from Bethany unless something goes wrong.

Today's agenda will be working on the master bedroom, laundry, reading, working on the sofa, and probably working on the kitchen.  I have lots I want and need to do (like sewing), but will have a few days available so I'll try to pace myself.

The hardest thing for me is remembering how to cook for two!  It's been almost 15 years since I've done that and am having the darndest time figuring out the proportions.  Charlie's patient though and that helps.  :)

I can't even imagine cooking for 2 people! LOL...I imagine though, with our age range here, by the time I find the "end" of my own children eating at home, I'll have a passel of grandchildren to sit at the table :o)
