Quiet Life Homestead

We're getting ready to take Charlie to the airport.  I'm trying to not be depressed, I hate it when he's gone.  You'd think that after the Marine Corps, I'd be used to it, but I'm not.  It brings me to wonder what my dream is.  Do you know yours?  Mine is for us to have a homestead, it doesn't have to be really big, in fact, I think 5-20 acres would be plenty.  Charlie could have a leatherworking shop on the premises and we'd spend our time working the land, taking care of the animals, etc.  Charlie and the boys could make leather goods while Bethany and I could sew and quilt.  That's my dream.  That's what I've been praying for for years.

Those of you in the Nashville, TN area are getting a blessing.  Michael DelGiorno is moving into the area.  Friday is his last day on the radio station here.  I'm not sure when he starts there or what the station is.  He's one of two talk radio people I know who aren't afraid to not only talk about what's going on, but to give glory to God.  He discusses issues from a Biblical perspective.
