Quiet Life Homestead

Wednesday Happenings & a Little Clarification

www.persecution.com  Before I begin today's entry, I encourage everyone to click on the link beside this.  The link is for Voice of the Martyrs.  I received their newest e-mail update and was saddened to read about the persecution going on in the world right now.  We are to remember our brothers and sisters in Christ and to pray for them.  I hope you do so.

Clarification:  I've been asked if the person I hinted to yesterday is someone who is on homestead blogger.  No she is not.  The person who I referenced (see yesterday's discussion about September 11) is a well known actress who happens right now to be on a television show known for encouraging people to give their "view" of things - except for the one conservative on the show who constantly gets shot down.  No, I do not watch the show and yes, I am getting the information from outside sources (Michael DelGiorno, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reily).  I normally would check into this on my own, but I don't think I could stand to watch for even a few minutes as the clips they play drive me up the wall.

Happenings: We'll be doing schoolwork this morning, followed by listening to the Yankees on our XM.  There's some controversy involved with this as Dallas wants to listen to the Tigers and I told him opening day that we could listen to the Tigers' next game.  But I found out yesterday that Andy Petitte is pitching for the Yanks today and don't want to miss it.  Charlie came up with a solution, I'll listen to the Yankees until Andy gets relieved and then we'll switch it over to the Detroit game.

The temperature was 42 when we got up this morning and will only get to about 60 today.  It feels SO GOOD!  We might actually get some things done today, house-wise.  I'll check in later and let you know.

Vicki

That particular person you are talking about is just ridiculous. I don't watch the "View" either but I have heard plenty of clips. It's sad that in 200 years this world could be based on Christianity to what it is today.
Blessings,
Trixi
