Mid-day Report

All I've gotten completed is dinner for tonight.  We're having soup - beef, potatoes, carrots, celery, & maybe corn.  I so want to think of it as stew, but where I come from it isn't stew unless you have tomatoes in it.  I wish I did!

I need to sew up the little opening in Dallas' quilt and do a little tying then it is finished.  I also want to finish removing the stitches from my quilt so I can hand quilt the last little bit.  I think I'll have Bethany work on Dallas' quilt (her slip stitching is much better than mine anyway) and I'll start working on the pads.  It can't be as hard as it seems, I think my mind is just making it seem difficult.  Once I begin, it will probably be easy.  Its just the starting that's hard.

Which leads me to my last thought (for right now ).  Did you know that writing something down on a To Do list doesn't get that thing done?!  I realized that I've got to actually do it in order to get it done!  A little sarcasm and joking on my part.  I noticed I keep writing things down on my daily to do list and then have to keep moving them to the next day.  Those silly items, I just don't understand why they won't do themselves!
