It seems weird that I'm writing my entry at night.  I normally write in the morning but today we went to Charlie's store and worked with him.  I tried to log on here while we were there and forgot that I hadn't logged off on this computer, so it wouldn't let me log on.

We got some shelves moved and lots of leather moved.  Sometimes I wish we could just take a week and really get in there and help out.  I think after one week we would have everything where he wants it and probably all the leather priced as well.

We left the dog in the general areas of the house while we were gone as a test to see how she would do.  We normally keep her in the bathroom with a baby gate while we're gone.  She did great!  No oopses or anything!

Since we were gone, I had some cleanup to do in the kitchen while I cooked dinner.  I started using Maa's (Homestead Girls) recipe for dishwasher detergent yesterday (half salt, half baking soda plus white vinegar in the rinse thingy).  I don't like how it does with our plastic cups - puts a film on them.  I do like how the china sparkles, but I noticed today that it isn't getting them as clean as I expected.  Yes, I'm one of those who doesn't pre-wash my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher.  I prefer to handwash my dishes, but will use the dishwasher when I'm feeling lazy, in fact, in my home, we call the dishwasher the "lazy washer."  Anyway, I'm used to the little drop-in things that get everything really clean.  I haven't decided what I'm going to do.  I probably will continue to try the above recipe and see if I can't do it a little better.  Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I'm pretty tuckered out so I think I'll go work some Suduko problems and go to sleep.
