Limiting Computer Time

I've read several posts about limiting computer time.  I've also wrestled with this.  My solution is to get up with my husband in the morning and try to get my blog written before the kids are up.  If they get up while I'm online (like right now), then I'll try to "wrap it up"  so we can get our day going.  I may or may not get back on for 5 minutes at a time later on in the day.  My priority after homeschooling is getting this quilt finished while I'm listening to Reb Bradley's Feminine Woman tape series.  Actually, I'm almost finished with it, so I'll move on to another one.  It's really helping and encouraging me.  I'd like to listen to some of Charity's messages, but don't know if I can download them onto a CD.  I don't want to have the computer on while I'm working on my sewing (Bethany says to say that she's sewing, too! :) ).  Plus the computer isn't in the same room where we sew and I don't want to have the sound blasting so we can hear it.  Any ideas?
