What a trip!

Our power and land phone line (and internet) went out yesterday.  I called Charlie and asked him to come get us since I didn't know how long it would last.  Everything ended up coming back on about 5 minutes before he showed up.  We still went to work with him.  Why?  Because I put one foot on the step outside and next thing I knew, I was laying on the ice thinking, "Did I fall?" 

I cut my hand (just a little cut) and of course was shaking.  Late last night my back and neck started hurting.  At least I got lots of prayer time throughout the night, mostly praise that I didn't break anything.  I'm still pretty stiff this morning so after we get the day going I'm gonna take a hot, steamy shower.  That's the only thing I can think of to loosen up the muscles.

What's so sad about the whole thing is my poor hubby felt so bad that the steps had ice on them.  I had gone outside about 15 minutes earlier and nothing had happened, it was just one of those things!  Guess what he did first thing after we got home last night (besides helping me in the front door), poor thing was outside cleaning off the steps!

Ouch! I'm so sorry you had a fall. Thankfully you weren't seriously hurt.
