The Joys of Cold Weather Posted in Pictures
When we went to bed last night it was -27˚C (not sure what that would be in ˚F, but I'm guessing it would be cold, lol). Today when I got up this is what I saw:
 That's -31.4˚C
and for those of you that use the ˚F scale:
 -24.5˚F
With temperatures like those, I'm really glad that I finished my Hannah Ponytail hat yesterday - it turned out really nice, and I am actually thinking of making another one (Charlotte is trying to figure out a way that she can steal this one, lol):
 This is showing the really interesting pearl buttons that I used on it - I got them from our button-box.
 Her hair pretty much blends in with the color of the door. 
 Yep, definitely think I need to make another one of these hats.
We had a bit of a surprise this morning, the hot water line if frozen in the kitchen and the main bathroom (no laundry getting done today). The cold water line is also frozen in the main bathroom - good thing that we have another bathroom just off our bedroom and thankfully, both the hot and cold water lines are working great.

VERY cute! Makes me want to grow my hair long again. BTW your emails are coming back to me, I wanted to let you know that the doll wasn't in today's mail but I'm suspecting it should be in tomorrow. If you guys are going to Mug Up (or not) let me know. Lori D.

Iced Coffee Syrup
≈ coffee
≈ water
≈ sugar
***IMPORTANT***: you need a percolator style coffee pot to make this.
DO NOT use a drip style coffee maker to make this syrup!!!!!
* Make one pot of coffee, then discard the grounds.
* Add fresh grounds, percolate again, with the coffee as liquid, not fresh water.
* Do this three times.
* To the finished coffee mixture, add one half the amount of sugar (if you end up with 3 cups coffee mixture, add 1 1/2 cups sugar).
* Mix until sugar is completely dissolved.
* To use: add 2 - 3 tablespoons of syrup to a 10 oz glass of milk, stir to mix and enjoy.
