Recipe Friday Posted in Recipes
Today I have a recipe to share that was shared with me by my good friend, Pam. I tried it the other day and I ended up adding a bit more vanilla than was called for - might have just been my tastebuds, though, lol. If you give it a try, please let me know what flavors that you have tried with it.
Coffee Creamer
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups milk
Flavoring of choice
≈ Mix together and keep in fridge ≈
Flavoring:
Vanilla- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Almond- 1 1/2 tsp each chocolate and almond extract
Other- About 1 tbsp of your favorite flavoring.

I love the new look of your blog. But then I have always been some what partial to the color blue... maybe because it is so closely related to the color purple???? *grin*

Thanks, Pam. I was really needing to change things up on it, lol. And I am really liking the blues .... never know, this one might stay for a while, lol, (probably not, but we can hope, right, lololol). Oh, and did you notice that I changed the colors of the links as well?
So, when can we expect to see some new changes on your blog (like switching to 3 columns???????), no pressure though, lol.

Iced Coffee Syrup

***IMPORTANT***: you need a percolator style coffee pot to make this.
DO NOT use a drip style coffee maker to make this syrup!!!!!
* Make one pot of coffee, then discard the grounds.
* Add fresh grounds, percolate again, with the coffee as liquid, not fresh water.
* Do this three times.
* To the finished coffee mixture, add one half the amount of sugar (if you end up with 3 cups coffee mixture, add 1 1/2 cups sugar).
* Mix until sugar is completely dissolved.
* To use: add 2 - 3 tablespoons of syrup to a 10 oz glass of milk, stir to mix and enjoy.
