What a Bible is Posted in Inspirational
I have had this written in the front of my Bible for many years, now. I find it very inspirational to read it every so often ... it reminds me of everything the Bible is for us:
Preparing for a long trip, a traveler told his friend: "I'm just about packed. I only have to put in a guidebook, a lamp, a mirror, a microscope, a telescope, a volume of fine poetry, a few biographies, a package of old letters, a book of songs, a sword, a hammer and a set of books I've been studying."
"But you can't get all that into your suitcase!" replied his friend
"Oh, yes," said the traveler, "it doesn't take much room." He placed his Bible in the corner of the suitcase and closed the lid.

Iced Coffee Syrup
≈ coffee
≈ water
≈ sugar
***IMPORTANT***: you need a percolator style coffee pot to make this.
DO NOT use a drip style coffee maker to make this syrup!!!!!
* Make one pot of coffee, then discard the grounds.
* Add fresh grounds, percolate again, with the coffee as liquid, not fresh water.
* Do this three times.
* To the finished coffee mixture, add one half the amount of sugar (if you end up with 3 cups coffee mixture, add 1 1/2 cups sugar).
* Mix until sugar is completely dissolved.
* To use: add 2 - 3 tablespoons of syrup to a 10 oz glass of milk, stir to mix and enjoy.
