A little bit of this and that

Today I worked on my MIL's Pink Cardigan and I am about half done the back of it now .... if I keep working on it I should have it done in no time, lol. I also finished up one of the fuzzy scarves that I was working on - I just need to weave in the ends and it is finished. Mary, I'll try to remember to bring it to work with me on Saturday, lol. I only need to do one more pair of fuzzy mittens and the matching scarf and then all the orders will be filled for those. I even updated my knitting list on the right sidebar - I really like that things are starting to come off those lists instead of just more being added, lol. Do any of you have more mugs than you have cupboard space? I seem to be accumulating quite a few mugs (not just me, the kids have been getting some for gifts), so I decided today that I was going to do what they do at our Church - they have a big (2 actually) Rubbermaid bins to hold all of the mugs, after they have been washed and dried they get put into one of these bins and then a nice white cloth gets draped over them to keep them clean. I don't have a big bin but I do have a Rubbermaid dishpan, I washed it out and dried it then in went all the mugs from the cupboard and the dishpan of mugs now sits right under my coffee maker so they are pretty accessible. What have you done to fix your mug situation? Do you just give them away or have you found a storage solution that you can share? Well, I am off to get some more laundry done and figure out something for supper - I'm thinking BBQ chicken and some rice, which means that Don will be cooking the meat because I don't BBQ, lol. |
