Made a few changes

I have made a few changes to the blog. First are the pictures at the top, these are of the barn that is on our property. My friends Mom does stationary for Incredimail, this is what she came up with for the picture of our barn that I sent her. Isn't she talented!!!!!!!! I absolutely love how it turned out.

Next change was the Picture of the Moment, this is a picture of the sunrise shining through the Spruce trees across from our house. I like how it kind of looks like there is a fire behind the trees ... it produced a neat effect.

Last change that I made was that there is a new recipe at the bottom of the page. It is a really easy recipe to make and the kids absolutely love this one - doesn't last long in our house, lol.

I like hte changes. Wish I knew how to do all this kind of stuff, but... I guess I could always ask my programmer husband, but.....

are you in eastern Canada? I spent some time in Quebec Province (mostly in the sticks and Montreal) and thought it was just beautiful!!!!

Iced Coffee Syrup
≈ coffee
≈ water
≈ sugar

***IMPORTANT***: you need a percolator style coffee pot to make this.
DO NOT use a drip style coffee maker to make this syrup!!!!!

* Make one pot of coffee, then discard the grounds.
* Add fresh grounds, percolate again, with the coffee as liquid, not fresh water.
* Do this three times.
* To the finished coffee mixture, add one half the amount of sugar (if you end up with 3 cups coffee mixture, add 1 1/2 cups sugar).
* Mix until sugar is completely dissolved.

* To use: add 2 - 3 tablespoons of syrup to a 10 oz glass of milk, stir to mix and enjoy.
