A surprise for me today

Yesterday the kids and I went to Mug Up and we had a wonderful time - I was able to get quite a bit of knitting done, I even wore my new socks that I made (the 2 socks at once on 1 circular needle, oh and they were done toe up) and since I mentioned before that I would post pictures of them, here they are: It is two shades of blue in one strand, they turned out quite comfy .... here is a picture of me modeling one of the socks: I don't really like the long socks so these worked up pretty quickly (3 or 4 days if I am remembering correctly).While we were at Mug Up a parcel card came in the mail and because we were out of town, I was unable to go and get until this morning. The Moderator on my knitting group organized a second knitting exchange, the theme this time was Think Spring. It has been so much fun choosing what items we put in the boxes for our partners, anyway, Karen thoroughly spoiled me and I can only hope that the lady who I am sending a parcel to, feels equally spoiled.
