Knitting is sooooooo relaxing

We were at Mug Up a couple of weeks ago and a bunch of us were knitting ... this is the usual for me and I manage to usually get quite a bit knit on Mug Up days.

Anyway, I was sitting beside a friend of mine so that I could help her with her knitting .... stretched out across her lap was her daughter, she wasn't feeling well and I was just amazed that she didn't try and grab at the needles or the yarn while her Mom was knitting. Check out the picture and see for yourself just how relaxing knitting can be, lol:

I was born and raised in Saskatchewan and our provincial flower is the Tiger Lily, now I live in the United States, but I love hearing about anything from back home. God Bless.

Glad you like the picture of the Tiger Lilies .... I wish that they were our Provincial Flower (ours is the Wild Rose). I was pretty impressed with how the picture turned out when I took it. =)

Iced Coffee Syrup
≈ coffee
≈ water
≈ sugar

***IMPORTANT***: you need a percolator style coffee pot to make this.
DO NOT use a drip style coffee maker to make this syrup!!!!!

* Make one pot of coffee, then discard the grounds.
* Add fresh grounds, percolate again, with the coffee as liquid, not fresh water.
* Do this three times.
* To the finished coffee mixture, add one half the amount of sugar (if you end up with 3 cups coffee mixture, add 1 1/2 cups sugar).
* Mix until sugar is completely dissolved.

* To use: add 2 - 3 tablespoons of syrup to a 10 oz glass of milk, stir to mix and enjoy.
