Playing with my Blog

Yesterday I decided that it was time for me to sit down and try and find out what all I could change on my Blog (without having to call in for help, lol).

So, the first thing that I changed was the picture at the top of the blog - it is now Tiger Lilies (my most favorite flowers), this was a picture that I took last summer in our yard ... all the snow that we have been getting has been making me long for brighter more Spring/Summer type pictures. I hope you enjoy the new picture as much I do.

The next thing that I changed was along the right hand side .... I now have Inspirational things over there (lol, not exactly sure what they are called at the moment, lol). Oh, and today I added some Blinkies as well.

One other change that I made to my blog was the corner banner - it was brought to my attention last night that one of my friends was having trouble when she would go from one blog to another (I think she had multiple windows open ... not sure though), anyway, she asked me if I could move it to the other corner of my blog . Sooooooooo ..... just for you, my friend, lol, does this work better for you now?

Iced Coffee Syrup
≈ coffee
≈ water
≈ sugar

***IMPORTANT***: you need a percolator style coffee pot to make this.
DO NOT use a drip style coffee maker to make this syrup!!!!!

* Make one pot of coffee, then discard the grounds.
* Add fresh grounds, percolate again, with the coffee as liquid, not fresh water.
* Do this three times.
* To the finished coffee mixture, add one half the amount of sugar (if you end up with 3 cups coffee mixture, add 1 1/2 cups sugar).
* Mix until sugar is completely dissolved.

* To use: add 2 - 3 tablespoons of syrup to a 10 oz glass of milk, stir to mix and enjoy.
