Let It Snow, Let It Snow .....

It has been snowing for the last 3 days, so today when Josh went out to get the mail for me, Charlotte offered to shovel off the front deck as well as the steps ... she did such a good job, I may get her to do this more often, lol.
Tonight we are having a Knit Night at my house, I'll be able to work on Mom's birthday present some more (I have it about half done). While I am at work tomorrow, during coffee and lunch breaks I'll work on it some more ... which will be good because I need it the knitting done by Valentines Day (her birthday is on the 15th).
Well, the kids just came in from outside so I better go make them some hot chocolate for them. Have a great rest of your day.

Hello!
I really wish I could knit. I can crochet:) I have made several scarves and a couple of blankets. My 8 year niece can even knit:) I think it is the two handed thing? Who taught you? Do you have any books that you find patterns from?

My Mom taught me when I was a girl ... never really took to it then, but now I am totally addicted to it, lol.
The best place I have found to find patterns is from www.lionbrand.com , there is hundreds of free patterns there as well as instructions on how to knit.
Knitting is definitely one of those things where you get better the more you work at it. If there is anyway I can help you out with learning how to knit, let me know.
