A Wonderful Find

Today while I was in town, I stopped over at the New & Used store that is just down from where I work. The lady who owns the store has the most amazing treasures there - I found something today that I just couldn't pass up, here is a picture to see if you can guess what I got:

A friend of mine does weekly Tea Times with her kids and I have been intrigued by this concept for quite some time. Now, I will probably not do this the same way that she does with her family, but that is the beauty of it ... it can be customized to each family, so this is what I picked up today:

Isn't it absolutely gorgeous - and then look what it does:

I have seen many teapots & cups in this style, but this is the first one that I have wanted to really have. And the best part about this wonderful find:

Iced Coffee Syrup
≈ coffee
≈ water
≈ sugar

***IMPORTANT***: you need a percolator style coffee pot to make this.
DO NOT use a drip style coffee maker to make this syrup!!!!!

* Make one pot of coffee, then discard the grounds.
* Add fresh grounds, percolate again, with the coffee as liquid, not fresh water.
* Do this three times.
* To the finished coffee mixture, add one half the amount of sugar (if you end up with 3 cups coffee mixture, add 1 1/2 cups sugar).
* Mix until sugar is completely dissolved.

* To use: add 2 - 3 tablespoons of syrup to a 10 oz glass of milk, stir to mix and enjoy.
