Momma Hen

My wife had another hen go broody so she placed some of the eggs we had incubating under her.  They were going to hatch in a few days anyway.  Her goal was to see how the momma dealt with the hatching and took care of the babies.  Getting a hen to incubate her eggs for the full 21 days is next, but we're taking baby steps.

She did fine and the new family is snug and happy in a little chicken tractor we built just for broody hens.  To see a picture check out her blog.
