About Me:
I'm a simple girl and hate pretense. I just wanna be me!! I don't want to conform to any type of group just so I can imitate them. I want to live for God with all my heart but do not belive that the way to that is by wearing dresses, baking all my own bread or keeping a sparkling proverbs 31 floor!!:):) You wont read about stuff like that here!! My HEART needs to be in the right place more than my mop:)
I have 8 children and am due with #9 in July 13th . Currently I'm trying to work out how to do things during summer break so my kids and myself can have a good summer and not just an utterly chaotic one nor a strict, boring one.
I write a lot about nonperfectionism because I hate the "I'm a better mom/homemaker/whatever than you" that comes with being a perfectionist! Besides hardly anything is ever perfect anymore when you have a big family. So why give yourself all that unneeded stress!! I'm all about "emabracing" life!!
This weblog is my little corner to be unashamedly me and to organize my thoughts on just how I can run my little city homestead. I love to cook and bake from scratch and love to create things though these days my time is quite limited.
Sometimes I may vent about a bad day OR gush about my kids with joy!!!! Life is NEVER boring around here!
