Homestead Haven Beginnings

I am a stay at home, homeschooling, wanna-be-homesteader in Bakersfield CA. I have been married to DH for 8years and we have 5 beautiful children, almost 8, 7, 5, 3 and 8 months. For a long while I struggled with the Lord about my city life predicament. I was born and raised in Montana, and I am a country girl at heart. However, He is dealing with me in this area, and I am finding much to do here on my city homestead!
