I have grown up in southern California but nature has been my passion for as long as I can remember and obviously, and saldy, there wasn039t much of it in Orange County When I was young girl I had no career aspirations like the other kids I didn039t want to be a policeman, a firefighter, a ballerina, etc An astronaught or a scientist were tempting ideas but most of all I wanted to be an Indian, a pioneer or a mom of 10 children This is when I was really young folks I soon realized that no one could aspire to be an Indian or a pioneer, but I still have always longed to live naturally and simply, to live off the land and it039s just so sad to me that I have no way to do it Not yet, and not that I can think of If anyone has any ideas for me PLEASE tell me All my family is here in southern California and none of them want what I want Neither do I have any friends who grew up in this lifestyle, so I just feel clueless as to how to make it happen and it039s such a far off dream that I want to become real but I can039t find I need help Currently I am working and saving up money so that I can partake in WWOOF world wide oppurtunities on organic farms so that I can travel to different farms and learn different ways of living off the land Well, that039s all the time I have to tell about me right now I am really excited to find this site

My First Garden, Ever in Life | 5 entries, 7 comments | | This is my online journal of the making of my garden. I started two weeks before Easter and I try to update this every weekend to take pictures of my progress. I always forget to take pictures though, so there are usually just a few good ones. |
