~*~*~* Rag Balls~*~*~*~

 These are so easy to make and alot of fun to do too. I usally use 2 1/2 inch stryofoam balls and cut some homespun strips and take those strips and start wraping them around the ball then the ends i just glue them done with crafting glue. Then just keep wrapping until you can't see the white styrofoam ball.

Now once you are done you can use them so many ways. Place them in old baskets, wooden bowls, big jars, even display them with your dolls. So many ways just to use them i could on and on.

Now if you would like to scent them you can by just spraying any refreshner spray on them Also you may by just melting some wax and when the wax is hot enough you add your oil in the wax then dip your wrap balls in the melts wax then hurry up and get them out of the wax sit them on some wax paper.

 I have so many but my one major favorite is americana. I have my livingroom done in americana and i try to have something in every room. And i love candle fixins so much fun to place them around a candle in a candle pan or in a basket and jars. Alot of ways to use those candle fixins. And raggedy dolls specially black one's. I have a pretty big collection of dolls my mom and husband have gotten me. Alot of them are americana one's. I have one that's very special a friend made it in honor of her son going over to sea's to fight in the war and she only made four. I got lucky and won the doll of ebay my husband John got it for me for our aniveary. And prim pillows i love pretty big collection of prim pillows a girl can never have to many pillows. And quilts! Don't really have to many of them but i'm trying to build my collection of quilts up.

 Hello i'm Amy Doherty, And i'm a stay at home mom to three lil kids. Jaymee our oldest is 5 she'll be 6 in May. Michael are second is 2 gonne be 3 in July. And our last baby is Patricia she's 6 months old. My hubby's name is John he's 32. We live in a small town in Indiana. This town is known for amish and the swiss hertiage. And for their furniture and there tree's. My hubby is a big time hunter hunts when ever he can. I love to sit down and make few prim crafts when ever i get the chance. I haven't for a while though but i do love too though. I do spend alot of time buying primitive and country items for my house though. I try to decorate every room in my house primitive.
