It's September already?!?!?!

What a bad blogger I am, it's been two months since I have posted.  I will try to be better especially now that I have a nasty habit of getting up between 4-5 am.  Also it is canning season and there is so much to do in that department. 

We found out in July that ds who will be six soon and myself are gluten free/casein free people now and more than likely the whole family needs to go that route.  Just when I was starting to get good at making whole wheat bread!  So this has been a new adventure in finding foods ds can eat.  When the Naturopath gave me the results of his food allergies she said she hasn't had a case that bad before, GREAT!!  Now it seems more manageable that at first.  Also she wants him to be on this very very restricted diet for a year before we start to re-introduce foods back in.  We are awaiting dh and littlest ds test results and our daughter is going to just jump onboard with the GF/CF thing. 

A month ago I had my 20 year class reunion and it was absolutely fabulous!  I got to see people that hadn't come to any of our other reunions and a really great old friend of mine showed up which was the highlight of my reunion time. 

It was also great to see my family again since it had been a year.  We are planning on heading back down in October, my dad wants to take dd deer hunting which she is going to LOVE.  So will my dad, she is her mother's daughter!  I've got the kiddos smelling the spent shotgun shells around here cause the smell of gun powder is just so........heavenly!
