![]() I love the liquid coffee creamers that come in all kinds of yummy flavors, but… I don’t like the unhealthy ingredients they contain. So every now and again I try my hand at making my own with better quality ingredients. I made this one today and I hope you enjoy it too!
.
.
Pumpkin Pie Coffee Creamer
Crystal Miller
1 cup half-n-half
½ cup cane juice crystals (can use white sugar instead)
3T canned pumpkin
½ t vanilla
½ t cinnamon
¼ t ginger
1/8 t nutmeg
1/8 t cloves
Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan. Heat until cane juice crystals dissolved and ingredients are well combined. Enjoy in a hot cup of coffee. Store in refrigerator.

BLESSINGS, EVERYONE! Well, just like the title says...we have been getting some of that white fluffy stuff! Currently we have about 4-6" on our back deck. WE are forecasted to get more this evening and on into the weekend! Tis the time of year...can't avoid it no matter how hard we try! The Men folk will be going hunting again this weekend. They saw plenty last weekend, but nothing worth the shot...or too far to shot at! (Hoping a deer will be got here...as I love to have my freezer full to the limit.) Something satisfying knowing that if we are snowed in for any length of time...food will never be rationed at our house! Of course, we do have about 12 old hens that really need to be caught and put into canning jars...BUT...until they are needed...lucky birds they are! I have washed my hands so much this year, in my classroom, they feel and look like sand paper. The "Norovirus" has been going around...a nearby Elementary school closed down for a day, and then a Big State College closed for a week because of this virus. It is spread through vomit and feces. AND I have two "super dupper poopers" in my room. Well, I need to get back to teaching...lunch is over...much to short as it was! Blessings from the snowy state...Me |

My apologies for not being on as much. I've been having a mix of medical issues lately and thus have had quite a bit of insomnia. I'm hoping this and other issues change in the upcoming months, as I work toward a healthier lifestyle. In the meantime, I'll be visiting when I can, but am focusing on one day at a time until I get my energy back.
Blessings to you all!

We found a house we like. It is a 7 bedrooms, 4 baths 4200 square feet and on almost 3/4 acre, only for 350 thousand!! , we are in California remember. We were emailed it and just loved the pictures and how it sounded. We went to see it and it is two house not one house! Ugh!!! Why do they not tell you that when you are looking at a few to see? They know what you want, so why do they waste my time?? We are going to look at another one, but this one is smaller only 3 bedrooms, 2 bath and 2300 square feet , but it has the land we want. We are just looking at this time as we still have our ranch and love it there. We will see where and if God wants us to move, but we keep looking. God Bless, mj |

![]() I believe that all too often we forget the beauty of baby steps. Little ones gather their courage and take little chances and begin making those memorable baby steps. Little by little... inch by inch... As we grow we can forget how important those small first steps can be, we want to get somewhere, we want to do something... NOW, not later. And instead of making small steps toward that goal, we jump in, jump ahead and can really make a mess of things. All of this analogy to say, that *I* remembered how vital baby steps were yesterday while homeschooling the children. I had been setting a task in front of my eldest that she simply was not ready. So I stopped and held her hand and let her wade through some of the problems she was having... taking those small baby steps... something, if I had opened my eyes, I should have done a long time ago. Baby steps might not get you to your destination the fastest... but, slow and steady will eventually win the race... and it just might be, that they are more stable and sturdy once they get there. :) My Cup Runneth Over... |

I do not know if you see on your news things about California , but we are having major fires. We have 6 going and 3 of them are close around us. We live in Chino. Chino Hills was Chino to, until they changed it to Chino Hills ( it was always just called the hills) because they did not to live in a city that has a prison. Carbon canyon is also part of Chino Hills (Chino). We live a few miles form Diamond Bar and Corona. We have fires all around us. We are praying for the people who lost their homes and for all the people helping out. So many people lost it all. People were evacuated 3 miles from us. It has been very smokey and it looks like it snowed due to the ash. It is fall but we have been in the 90's. Hubby had such a hard time getting home from work on Friday. The 3 freeways were closed as was Carbon Canyon. It took him over 2.5 hours to drive the 17 miles home!! God Bless, mj |

God will always provide to those who are faithful!
One of them, has a "habit" of scratching inappropriate places...(inside of her pants....) Then we have to have her wash her hands...then I sanitize everything, etc....such a vicious cycle...ICK...so hand washing is constant in my room...including the hand sanitizer.
