Thursday Musings

Posted in Family Life

Today was a quiet day.  It began at 5:30 a.m. when I got up to exercise.  I don't think my eyes were open when I got on the treadmill, but it sure did feel good after I was done.  The girls slept in, so I got a lot of time checking the blogs that I enjoy reading.  Every site I go to has some inspirational message to glean  from.  It never ceases to amaze me how God puts the words you need to hear right in front of you, exactly when you need it.

The girls got up and watched some cartoons while I worked on the ironing for the day.  They decided to finish their bead creations that they had started the night before.  They continued to play while I had a chance to finish their easter outfits.  I love sewing, but I always take on too many projects at one time.  It is probably a good thing though, because the pile of fabric motivates me to get the sewing done faster.

We got lunch and then it was off to the Rubber's ballet class.  She is so cute and they are dancing to the "Rubber Duckie" song for their recital.  We came home and made chocolate chip cookies before having to go back and take the Juggler to her ballet class.

By the time we get back from her class it is dinner time.  The girls take a bath after dinner and then we settle down and watch "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader."  Both the Rubber and the Doodler girls fall asleep during the show and the baby wakes up from her power nap.  She is inching her way around the livingroom floor these days in hopes of crawling soon.  My dear hubby is asleep on the chair too, bless his heart, he travels so much these days.

Tomorrow is Friday - Woo Hoo!  But on the flip side, it means our Spring Break is almost over.  Before I know it though, summer will be here!

Blessings,

Michelle
