Show and Tell Friday

Posted in Family Life

Kelli, over at  There's No Place Like Hom

Kelli  hosts "Show and Tell Friday."  Not many people know my hidden desire to collect bird houses, tea kettles and roosters.

I have a small (really small) collection of the first two.  I'm still working on the roosters!   My first birdhouse, I bought at a Southern Living Party about 2 years ago.  Of course it's a church which is my favorite place to be.

The copper tea kettle was purchased at an antique store.  I especially love the ceramic handle on it.  My baked bean pot I got from my mother-in-law along with 4 bowls.  The silver tea kettle I purchased myself.  One day I would love to have a house filled with old antiques.  There is nothing like the heritage these old pieces pass down through the generations.  If they could talk, oh the stories that would be told.
