Rainforest Lapbook

Posted in Lapbooks

Lapbooking is brand new this year for us.  We are really enjoying the creativeness that it allows us to experiment with.  My 9 YRO DD recently completed a rainforest lapbook during our study of Africa.  Here are some pictures of the finished project.

This is the front cover.  On it she has included a map of all the rainforests in the world, as well as the different layers of the rainforest.

This is the inside.  On the left she has listed the books that we've read and there is a pocket for all of the animal/insect cards she made.  In the middle she has a collage of all of the animals of the rainforest.  On the right side she has a snake figure which she has printed all over the image, adjectives which describe a snake.

The macaw is a craft project from a book entitled   Crafts for Kids Who Love Rainforests .
