Greetings Friends!
I'm at my weekly library job a bit early, so I thought I would drop everyone a line.
It is still a lovely autumn in our area. The Rockies are getting some snow, which is always a spectacular sight. I'm appreciating the sun's going down at about 7 p.m. these days. It makes it easier to get Jonathan into the tub and into bed. Our woodstove makes our house feel very cozy.
I was glad to get David home from last week's hunting trip. He had a good time, but he and his friends saw very little wild game in an area that typically has plenty. There weren't forest fires burning in the area during the summer, but it is hard to determine if other fires in the area could have changed the patterns the game like to move in. He will be able to take off another week during rifle season. Lord willing he will do well. I got a pressure canner this year and I am anxious to try canning some venison.
My preschool job is going well. Our lead teacher is very different than I am. She dislikes structure and is very right-brained. I have been stretched a bit and have learned to think on my feet! Over all she and the other aide and I do well together and are having fun. The kids are getting a lot of hands-on learning, which is what I would want if I were a parent of a preschooler.
My Bible study started today. We are doing the book Lies Women Believe and I am very pleased with it. All I have to do is carry the book around in church and women comment about how much they have gained from reading it. We had a group of 4 of us today. One lady showed up to return her book. Her daughter is having open heart surgery next week and will have a recovery period at home as well. The mom felt that beginning a Bible study in the midst of all that would be too much. I can certainly understand. We were able to pray with her about her daughter's surgery before she left.
I know she would appreciate your prayers as well. Kira is in grade school and will have a hole in her heart's mitral valve fixed in Salt Lake City.
Better get ready for work. Bless you all.

We are doing that Bible Study at church right now too! I love the study!!!!! However, many of the ladies at our church have complained that it is hard...I think it is just hard sometimes to look at ourselves and see the lies that we have believed. But I am ready for God to make any changes in me that he wants. too! We just finished chapter 6 this week! I am glad you are enjoying it like I am! :)
