I'm Still Here!
Hello, dear friends. Yes, I'm still around. It has been a bit more difficult to blog lately.........
I had explained in an earlier entry that we got cell phones when Maria went to college and had our landline, along with the internet, turned off at our house. I had thought it would be relatively easy to get to the library and spend a little time on the computer.
Then I learned that our insurance company will no longer cover our asthma drugs since they aren't generic and I am no longer eligible to received them for free from the manufacturer. I'm sure it's because they have been deluged with requests for free meds.
I took a job as an aide at the preschool at our local Christian school. I had expected to spend 2.5 hours three mornings a week at school, but it has turned out to be at least 4.75 hours those three mornings.
Plus, there is fall work to accomplish before the weather gets colder. Today I got the lawn mowed and will clean the gardens and flower beds soon. Then there will be raking to do.
Maria is doing well at Montana Bible College. She has made some wonderful friends. One of her roommates is getting married during Christmas vacation, so that's quite exciting for her. She is having a friend take her sewing machine to her, so she can make some things for the bride. She also loves the town of Bozeman. It is in a stunningly beautiful area and there are so many things to do. Quite a treat for a girl from a small prairie town.
Jonathan is doing well in kindergarten. It's all day, every day, so the days are long. I'm confident that the Lord will open the doors for homeschool in His timing. Jonathan is also playing a short season of soccer and he loves AWANA on Wednesday nights. We do his reading lessons during the evenings. We love to spend time snuggling in bed with books.
David is bow hunting with a couple of friends right now. It has been windy, which isn't what bow hunters like. He left Monday and will be home tomorrow.
So, how are you? Drop me a line if you have time!

You sound so busy. I am sorry to hear about your insurance company not covering the medicine you need. Will you Dr. order enough free samples from the medical reps ?
Our Dr. did that for our daughters asthma medicine when our insurance company would not cover it any more, it would have cost us $135.00 a month for just that one. God Bless. mj

I so understand you being busy. Sometimes life is so fast, we can't keep up. I will keep you in my prayers on the meds. Glad to hear your daughter is doing well. I will be excited to hear from you when you have time to blog. :)
