Well, there isn't much fun in making bread all the time.  But when you can mix up cookies to bake when the oven is still hot, that makes it worth while!  Here is my youngest daughter helping me  (Well, I was actually helping her) bake up some new tasty cookies.

She made up two new kinds of cookies to bake.  Cinnamon Maple Rings and Krispies which were a sugar cookies with rice crispies and chocolate chips added.  The dough for the Rings was just made up of flour, shortening, sugar and maple syrup.  You roll that out like pinwheel cookies and brush with maple syrup to bake.  Yum!
