Homestead Wannabe

• 2006-Feb-12 - Homestead Wannabe

I've decided, admittedly, I think I want friends that homestead (live on farm, ring chicken's necks, slaughter cows, grow wonderful food, have wonderful advice) more than I actually want a farm.  My kids are all the work I can do.  I do desire the simplier life but am only willing to go so far to get it.  Doesn't simplier involve a maid and a cook? (tee hee)

Simple life requires (R*E*Q*U*I*R*E*S) a maid, a cook, a dairy maid, a gardener and possibily a chauffeur, too!

My kind of life!! Enjoy the peace and quiet of country life and let the others do the work!!

Wouldn't it be lovely? I love a clean house but hate to clean it, good food but hate to cook it, a beautiful garden but can't make time to do it!

I'm not a homesteader yet, and I don't think I really want the farm kind either. Praying about that one since having chickens would really simplify my grocery bill. LOL

However, I will gladly be your friend, if you'd like. ;)

See ya around the "cyber" farm.

About Me

We live in the country but not on a farm. I'm attracted to the homesteader mentality, organic foods and medicine, natural living and a simpler, more Christ-filled life.
