New cousin
I have a new cousin.
Actually I'm behind the times she is two months old now. (I'm pretty sure) I will get to see her In a few weeks when we go to Africa. :-)

Jam
Last week we went and picked some sascatoon berries. And then we made jam out of them. There were so many seeds that we had to strain them out, a few were still in there though. But it turned out really good! The berries, my sisters and I. And the jam.we also made raspberry jam that was good to  My sister and the jam.The jams on my homemade bread was great! |

canoeing
Yesterday we went canoeing down Icicle creek. It was really fun!  Me on my tube My dad and the canoe. By the time we were done I was really cold! But thats just part of getting wet!1happyheart |

Drying cherries
Last Sunday and today we have been drying cherries. We are going to Africa in October with 25 people. We might want some fruit while we are there, so we have been drying cherries.(We will dry apples pears and other fruit when they are ready.) We have gotten six big food dryers full and one little food dryer full. My mom has also been experimenting with making already made cashew cheese. She is making everything into powder and the she is going to try and just add water and stir it over the stove we'll see how that turns out! here are some pictures of us doing cherries. I'm the crazy one leaning over the blue box. The girl in the blue apron is one of my friends and her mom. that was the sorting crew. That is only half of the pitting slicing crew. The girlin the red dress is my sister, and the other girl is a friend. My mom and other sister were helping here to. The Dads were at work though.1happyheart
