Is This Worth Posting?I like to post bits of knowledge that I have gleaned from others during the day. But I cannot tell if this is knowledge or just a foolish notion. . .A customer told me on Friday that if you stir three tablespoons of black strap molasses into a glass of soymilk per day - and drink it - that it will take care of your gray hair. I know that both soy and black strap molasses have a lot of good nutrition, but I wonder if this is crossing over the line. I will watch this customer's hair. She bought a gallon of black strap. If I can remember, I will let you know. . . Something Else I Learned YesterdayA lady came in and bought all of the Black Currant Oil that we had. I asked her what she used it for and she said that she was going through the time of her life when her hair was thinning and she took black currant oil to help it come back in. She said it worked for her and now her sister was also taking it.So if you have thinning hair, maybe you might like to give it a try too. I am going to. What I learned today. . .I open the store every morning. . . unlock the door, turn on the lights, put the money in the cash drawer, turn on the open signs. Sometimes I am by myself for several hours until the bosses arrive . I stock shelves and weigh up bulk items to put on the shelves and to have for backstock. This morning while I was stocking the shelves and taking an order for our bulk supplier, I saw an item that is new to me. It was a supply of detoxifiers and internal cleansers. I picked one up and skimmed over the lable. At the bottom it said to check out their websight at www.howtousethebathroom.com . I thought that it looked interesting. . . So I checked it out. It's still kind of interesting. I will have to try it. . . : ) And that is what I learned today. I Learned How to Lower Cholesterol Really Fast! What I learned today:Connie of The Vegetarian Express came into the store this morning and, being the friendly girl that she is, began talking with the customers. She told about a study she had heard about - people living in a zoo with the animals and eating what the animals eat and how they came away with their health very much improved. So I looked online to see what I could find and this is what I came up with: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6248975.stm http://www.vegparadise.com/news69.html You know, while I do not believe in evolution for one second, I believe that if someone were very ill and needed help ASAP, this would be the route to go. Hey, it's better than a casket! So that's what I learned today. Celery Seed TeaWhat Celery Seed Tea is Good For:A regular customer came into the store where I work today. After she had picked up what she came for, she told me that her mother has had an aching back for years and nothing that she has tried has helped. Someone told her to drink celery seed tea to see if that would help. She did and it did! I never heard of such a thing, so I looked it up on the internet. I learned that celery seed tea has been used in other countries for hundreds of years to treat arthritis, muscle spasms, water retention and a host of other things. |
