| We finally got rain!!! Yay! It's been almost 2 months! We got a little yesterday, just enough to settle the dust. And then today, right at naptime, the skies got dark, and the Heavens opened! I was sorely tempted to go out and dance in it!! (The thunder warned me of that idea) and it rained for hours. I put the boys in my bed and I crawled in with them. We read a book and then all 3 of us fell asleep to the sound of rain on our tin roof! I had so much to do, and really didn't need to take a nap, but it was such a wonderful treat!
This week I've been trying to do more jobs that I've been procrastinating! When we start home schooling next week, I want to have my to-do list wiped clean, or at least shortened!
I bought a MP3 player this week thinking that it would be nice to have something to listen to as I work. But I can't get it to work. Half the time I can't even get it to turn on!! And I've NEVER been able to get the battery to charge any more than a bout a quarter full. If my husband can't fix it, then I'm going to have to return it! That's what I get for trying to be hip!!!!! |

About Me
Here on the side of our little Arkansas mountain. Our family includes me, Allison, my husband Justin, my step daughters (14 yo twins) "Bert" and "Nic", our sons (6yo) "Si", and (3yo) "Roo". Next door are the in-laws Wendy and Dan. And between the two homes, we have 3 dogs and two gardens. We live next to a National Forrest so we see all sorts of wildlife. We love homeschooling, gardening, whole food cooking, quilting, crafting, and having bonfires!
