Wednesday, June 11, 2008 - ABC Wednesday ~ U

So many un words in the online alphabetical dictionary!  Yes, all dictionaries are alphabetical, but if you want to find one online that is my suggestion.  My U is for Unread Books. I got the books that are not from the library from ebay.  I also got a book by Tracie Peterson, book one from a series, and liked it so much I have ordered book two from Koorong.  When I finish a book in a series, I often read the first chapter of the next book on this website.  Thankfully I won't have a problem with my other unread books.  They are stand along or a group of books put together.  I have read a series by Lauraine Snelling before, the Red River Series, and those are the ones I read ahead with.

T is for trees.  These photos were taken when we went to the city last.  We took a more civilised way home.  The first photo is taken at an outback dunny.  This next one shows the fire damage from a few years ago.

Friday, May 23, 2008 - ABC Wednesday ~ S

S is for Stack & Sauce. I think we are up to our third load of wood this season. This is our sad bottle, obviously too large.  We are halfway through eating it.  It is plum sauce, and we have been collecting smaller bottles to try again.
