Well, it sure has been busy around here...!
We have been busy with our new baby chicks--who are growing quick! (We lost one last night--no idea why--just up n died :(
We've had a few illnesses run thru the house, Marc is back at work thru the Summer....filling candle orders, schoolin, planting seedlings, planning the garden....we have a Grandpa's 85th birthday party this weekend, Marc got some COOL, very nice new woodworking tools....take a lookssee :
THIS is THE most major drill set up I have EVER SEEN......350 RPM's, look at Marc's hand in comparison to this thing.....WHOA NELLIE!!!! IT"S HUGE! We got these tools from Bosworth Tools--talk about NICE stuff--WOW! We were even more impressed than we thought we'd be--which is a NICE surprise! :)
Yesterday, we ran some errands (Marc got a 4 day weekend since they finished up their job early--yay!) got a wood permit for this year...made up a double batch of laundry soap, made up a few batches of cookie dough, (and a few cookies) tossed the cookie dough in the freezer for another time. Baked up the last bit of the blueberries into a cobbler for Marc. Played around with Marc's new tools, broke out the BBQ -(where we found the mysterious quarter pounder-------it was 66 degrees yesterday afternoon--wow! BBQ'd up some steaks, for fajitas which were deeeelicious!
Marc found some fireworks....hence the pic below....... 
and the girls helped me hang clothes on the line, and enjoyed time outside, in their playhouse and with their wagon...playing Little House on the Prairie :) 
I have a crock of chili to get going....and bread--I need to get some loaves put up in the freezer too....with things getting so busy (as if they weren't before!) I am having trouble keeping up with daily breadmaking....freezing it is! We are also making up a big batch of cornbread to take along with the crock of chili to Grandpa's birthday party/luncheon on Saturday....
I have GOT to get the taxes finished, before Marc has a stroke too.....al;sdkfjal;sdkjf....
