2007-Nov-9 - Frugal Holiday Meals
WOW- Thanksgiving has snuck up on me this year.....can't believe it's less than 2 weeks away!
Sooo......what is on your menu this year? We will be having a lot of family gatherings this year, as grandma and grandpa have moved back to the area, and our oldest DD is coming home for Christmastime!
What are you doing this year, for your meals, or decorating ideas that are nice, yet frugal? What special recipes are you whipping up this year?
I am looking for a few new, unique recipes that won't break the bank......any helps?
Have a blessed day!
Lisa

2007-Nov-22 - Frugal Thanksgiving

We are having a frugal Thanksgiving this year. Everything from scratch. I got several good recipes from Hillbilly Housewife. Many from my 1975 edition Better Homes and Garden Cookbook.(yeah, I know it dates me!) I recieve your newsletter notices, but have not subscribed yet. I will need to now we are going to be living on our own 'homestead'. I'm new here (but blog on homeschoolblogger), so stop by sometime.
