2006-Nov-22 - Today at Our Little 'Stead ....
Today has started off beautifully...got some desk work done and tidied up for the long holiday weekend....the living room picked up, dh's lunch made and got him off to work (for hopefully a really short day! :) have wax melting to get a batch or two of candles done, and it's just after 6 am :)
The girls and I got a few things done ahead yesterday--a big batch of Chex Mix baked up, Daddy's Cheeseball made up and chilling in the fridge, got the majority of the housecleaning done, all the bedding washed and beds remade, bathrooms sparkling (thank you my girls!) and lots more of the 'little stuff' :)
As soon as they are up and rolling we'll get going on pies, stuffing and more! Mmmm! I love days like today...stormy, wind howling days....a chance of snow looming, and a fire in the stove....& just baking and cooking....
