Our Little Homestead

2006-Oct-31 - Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

My oh MY!  What a night/morning!  It seems it got down to 12 degrees here last night.   A little chillier than I'd expect quite this early in the season. Beautiful white frost covered everything this morning!

Ended yesterday with a screaming migraine, that I still have....... and a client called at 3:17 am from Ireland........I am so glad we didn't get to the phone in time! lol! The topper tho.......a drumroll please...........the PIPES ARE FROZEN!

Man o man.

Ah well, the sun will hit the house soon enough and thaw them I spose, I don't know what else to do.  If it were going to stay this cold all day I might be a little more worried, but it will warm to the 40's so, eh, what am I really going to do anyway....? Crawl my ever growing self under the house......hmmmm.....no.

I did call dh.  :)  I did my duty..... :)

Ok--I have tunics to sew on for the Bible Festival tonight, and of course all the regular work to do... :)

Hopefully the pipes will unthaw, the migraine will fade....and all will be well! :)

Have a great day!

So sorry to hear you suffer from migraines. My dad and my daughter have the same problem. It is miserable I know. Hang in their, the sun will warm things up and the world will look different then. ^..^
