Today I'm not feeling very well so I'm taking a break from all manual labor. I'll switch in to paper work gear so I can organize our plans. Budgets for moving, cost of getting animals, gardens and other things.

Do you have to register a homestead name?

Depending on what size property we buy, I have the lay out of how we want our gardens & animal area. First thing we'll do though is to make room for horses. We'll be setting up a boarding facility to offset some of our expenses. We're also thinking of breeding purebred dogs as a form of income. I don't think any one in our area can afford to purchase a purebred anything though ...... so I need to find out about shipping animals. We could deliver to the tri-state area if needed. Now to pick a breed.

We are a family of 9 right now. Our dreams of homesteading have taken flight .... even if the plane is still sitting on the runway, at least we have flight plans.
