Our Journey

Posted in Unspecified

Good morning,

it's 59 degrees right now at 10:00am.  We are suppose to have some severe weather conditions through tomorrow.  They said squalls and tornados.  We'll see.  The locals say that the bad weather seems to go around us here.  We had a storm last night, but it only lasted about a half hour.  We've been asking around about the fishing here.  We can't wait to give it a try.  There is muskie, walleye, blue gill, sun fish, 4 different kinds of bass and I'm sure there's more.  One thing I really like here is we don't have any cougars or  bear.  Husband wishes there were some, but I feel safe in the woods and feel confident enough to take a walk.  Where we lived before in WA you wouldn't catch me taking a walk alone in the woods.  In WA I'd seen at least 5 bears around our home and we had 2 cougars in our yard also.  We're still loving it here and I hope that it dosn't ever wear off.  Last night we sat on the land and just watched and listened to all the different birds we have here.

We're off to price some lumber.

I love all your blogs - We visited Mammoth Cave in KY a few years ago - that is one state that would be fun to live in & the parks are very nice. Jill
