Our son took this picture.  I don't know why but it cracks me up.  It's funny, the things that remind us of him lately, really make us laugh.  Food always reminds us of him.  Why is that?  I wonder if anything reminds him of us and what they would be.  When he goes somewhere and he walks out the door I'll bet he hears his mother telling him to put his coat on, be careful, stay out of trouble, don't drive too fast, you'd better eat something because you know that as soon as you get down the road you'll be hungry, say good bye to Angel, when will you be home?, you need to find a job, you need to go to college, be polite, don't get any tickets or your insurance will skyrocket, watch out for other drivers, are you hungry?, you're always hungry, you'd better eat something, watch for ice, love you, have fun.  We love you Son & miss you too.

  Sound bad?  Last time we drove over the mountains Grandma I'm sure tried to talk us out of it.  She asked us if we had our coats, blankets and water?  Then she loaded us all up with oranges, water bottles, crackers and beef broth.  Beef broth, Grandma what I'm I going to do with beef broth?  Then she thought maybe we'd like to take the left overs from the night before too.  No I don't think I'll be needing any roast beef on our 2 hour drive.  We love you Grandma!!  She was glad to know that a neighborhood was taking food donations that night to look at their Christmas lights and we were able to donate the beef broth.  Who would've thought?
