Hope things are falling into place for your departure. I think what you two are doing is so exciting! I just got back to Juneau last night. Alec was wonderful to be around, especially now that he is old enough to talk to, take places, etc. If you are able, maybe you should stop through Albuquerque for a day or two to visit. His birthday is OCt. 10th. Have a great trip sis! Love you! Lace

ky??
I just want to put a vote in for kentucky. i've lived here all of my life(almost 53 years) and the area can be really beautiful..i live on the ohio, west virginia, ky border, out in the county, but i do have neighbors. however, i have a little land and trees all around my property with a "park like" setting. I just love the seasonal changes, no extreme weather(no hurricanes, a rare and i mean rare tornado, but not big because of the hills in eastern ky). i'll be following you! good luck and God bless! susan
