Wind Point Lighthouse on Lake Michigan -
We decided to go North and then West this trip so we could see Lake Michigan and some different states. We traveled through Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minessota so far. Illinois is very beautiful and not what we expected. It took us almost three hours to get through Chicago on I94 on Sunday evening. I can't imagine what it would've been like during rush hour. Wisconsin looked alot like Kentucky, but with better roads. People were alot more layed back behind the wheel. Minnesota is beautiful farm after farm. We'll be headed into South Dakota tomorrow. Grandma had a really good weekend and was able to eat and drink which she really hasn't been able to do for a few weeks. My aunt, uncle and our son built her a pergola roof over her back porch complete with new plants and a comfy lounge chair. It's something she's wanted for a while now. There's nothing like a pretty scene to help a person feel better. -
Psalm 121:1&2 I will lift up my eyes to the hills- From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
