Sunday Evening
Do you ever have one of those weeks when life just gets in the way?   That's the kind of week I've had this week.  For some reason, all week long I have been plagued with a nasty headache.   Not a migraine but rather one of those kind that just hangs on and makes you feel horrible.   I've tried everything I can think of and it's still hanging on although not as bad as it has been.   I decided since I'm running so far behind on everything I might as well catch everyone up on what is going on around here.
To begin with, after months of cold we have had some gorgeous warm weather.   I honestly have no idea where or why it's came but oh how I wish it would stay.     I've taken full advantage of it by getting all caught up on my laundry.   I know everyone thinks I'm nuts but I refuse to throw our clothes in the dryer.   Sooner or later the weather will warm up to where I can hang them out so I just wait.   I'm happy to report there's now not a dirty piece of laundry in the whole house and we'll all be sleeping under clean sheets tonight.
Even with a headache I've managed to work on a few crafts.    At long last I'm through with my "Turkey Tracks " rugs.    I was really pleased with how it turned out and of course now I'm anxious to start another rug hooking project.  However, I decide to take a little break and do some Needle Punch just for a change of pace.    This afternoon I finished my friend Betty's free heart pattern (This will be a Valentines gift) and I'm now punching on a little sewing pouch.   I'm hoping to have it finished by the end of the week.
I've also bought a bunch of wool and I'm happily dying away.   I was really pleased to make up my own dyes and come up with some soft, antique looking greens, blues and reds.   I hope to make them into a chair pad latter on this month.
Other than these few things all I've done is cooking, clean and take care of little ones.   Oh yes, help with their home-work too.   Hopefully next week I'll be feeling better and will get more done.
I hope the rest of you have enjoyed this warm spell and you too are getting lots done.   Until later....Hugs, Sher

Hi Sher, your turkey rug turned out great! Hope your headache is better! I've been busy hooking funny chicken chairpads and finishing up the second rug (B is for Bountiful Harvest) in my alphabet series of the Shepherdess and her sheep...such fun! : )
Happy Hooking! Sunnie : )
