A Cool Wednesday Morning!

Good Morning!
It's a cool day here on the farm. Not like the cold day we had yesterday! I walked the little ones down to the bus this morning and we decided to go ahead and go in our bus stop (Which looks like an "outhouse"! HA) since the wind was still blowing. They are talking like we could get rain tomorrow so I'm sure we'll be back to driving down in the car.
With the kiddo's gone I now have the day to myself. I put on a yummy smelling "Cinnamon Toast" candle and have about decided it needs to change it's name....Smells more like "Hot Cocoa"! Smells so good it's making me crave chocolate! HA Of course chocolate makes me hungry so I got around and got the Sugar Cookie dough made up that I had planned to make yesterday. By this time tomorrow I'll be baking cookies.
With rain on the way, I guess I'll go ahead and do a couple of loads of laundry. The kids are out of school Friday so if I do laundry today I'll be pretty well caught up with their school clothes by the time they go back Monday. While Jeni has tons of clothes poor little Drew is another story. I swear that child has grown four inches over the summer!!!! While his jeans will all still fit him around the waist (He's as skinny as a rail!) they have definitely became "high water" pants! I bought him a pair of size 10 slim last week and they will work as long as they have the little tabs in the waist that allows you to take them in. So, the next time I'm in town I'll pick him up a couple of more pair.
Since I have the house all picked up this morning, I have decided today is the day I'm going to finish my sampler. I worked on it yesterday and I don't think I have ever had as much trouble with a project as I am this one! I'm really not sure what the problem is....While I don't have a pattern that's nothing unusual for me. I think it's mainly because it's a bigger project than I normally work on and I'm having trouble fitting everything in. I just pray I don't have all these problems when I go to frame it! Or for that matter, that it will fit in the old frame I'm making it for! HA
