Rock and Roll
Those three words describe our weather this morning.    Yesterday we were told rain and possible storms were on the way but it wasn't until daylight this morning I got worried.    Living in Kansas my family has seen it's fair share of bad weather (My sister Susan has been in two tornadoes!) so I know the signs to look for.   This morning we are seeing those signs....The sky has that green cast to that we know so well.    Keith has closed everything up outside and my only regret is the little ones aren't home.    Actually, I would have kept them home from school today but it was picture day and I didn't want them to miss that.   Had a seen the sky (It's pitch black when they get on the bus) I would have kept them anyway.   Hopefully everything will blow over soon but in the meantime is scary looking.
Since it's so dark I have decided this is going to be another one of my "do nothing days".   So far I'm living up to those words as all I've done is pick up the house and run the dishwasher.    The rest of my day is going to be spent working on the sampler that I started Monday.    With the whole day to myself it should work up pretty fast.
The rain has started now so I'm going to close this off and go check the sky once more.   I hope you day is going better than ours.   Blessings, Sher
