Old Crow Farm

Wednesday on the Farm
It's another Wednesday on the farm.    Just as it has been for the past few weeks, we are having cold weather of a morning and warm weather by the afternoon!  The little ones have both caught colds because of this (How do you dress of a morning when it's freezing and then by afternoon you don't need a coat?) so they are feeling miserable.  It sounds like we are in for a least another week of this so I guess we might as well get used to it.
The warm afternoons have been wonderful though!   Not only do we have the greenhouse ready to go but Keith now has one whole flower garden cleaned out.  (Only three more to go!!)    That was such a mess and for the life of me, I don't know why we don't do this in the Fall.   I had hoped to have some seeds started by this time but I have had to many irons in the fire to get out there and work on them.
Along with working on our flower gardens, Keith has been busy getting our old arbor re-built!     If you'd like to read the story behind it you can find it at my other Blog :(http://oldcrowfarmks.blogspot.com/).    It's just about done now and he'll soon have it back up.   Once it goes back up I know it's just a matter of time until I can plant my annual Morning Glories around it.   It will be so nice to finally look out there and see some green!  I'm getting sick of brown!!!
Due to sickness, yesterday I had to go in and work for my old boss.   I can't believe how much fun it was to see everyone once again and to catch up on all the news around town.   Of course by last night I remembered one of the main reasons I had quit...My legs hurt all night long!   I swear, I have suffered from leg cramps all my life (Some of my earliest memories are of my Grandmother rubbing my legs at the age of three!) and it's not getting any better the older (and heavier!!) I get!   It's been so nice today to be able to sit when ever I want!!!
Since I was gone all day yesterday I have had double the housework to do today!   I finally got things picked up and a German Chocolate Cake baked for supper.   Thankfully supper is going to be quick tonight...Spaghetti and Garlic toast!   I need a day of rest!
Well, it's time to get another load of laundry done and then the rest of the day is mine!  Oh the joy of being a stay at home Mom!
