A Thank-You Note
To those of you who answered my questions on a Toaster/Oven I want to say thank you!   After a long debate and looking at many models, Keith and I finally decided on the one that I had picked out while he was out of State.   The one we choose was a GE that had the "bumps" in the middle to accommodate pizza pans.    While we've only had it for a few weeks it's already paid for itself in not heating my kitchen!!!!     We've made everything from muffins to pizza in it and later on this afternoon it will be baking a Mexican dish for our supper.
Does this take the place of my stove oven?   Absolutely not!   It will never replace an oven that is needed for a turkey/ham or to bake large batches of cookies but for small things it's wonderful!   The other night I was doing Greek Pizza in it when Keith came in from outside.   The first thing he remarked on was the smell (I swear that man is so easy when it comes to eating! HA) and then about how cool the house was with it on.   For those of you who have been thinking of getting one, I would definitely recommend going ahead with your purchase.
Marti, you know my little kitchen...Sure wouldn't want one sitting on my limited counter space!!!   So, it resides out on a cabinet in the family room but since it's so light it's super easy to move when needed.   Just a really handy item to have around!
Once again thank you girls for all your input on my purchase!   Hugs, Sher

Hey Sher, Glad you got your toaster oven and are delighted with it. They are wonderful. My mom always used one when I was a kid growing up...and used it until she died. She loved hers. I am such a nut over kitchen gadgets and these are wonderful. I love mine.

I have a new delightful recipe for cranberry orange muffins that are absolutely wonderful. My friend Pam drives many miles to a Star Bucks to buy a muffin and she says my recipe is even better. So if you want the recipe, e-mail me.

Hey Sher, also can you e-mail me the address where you get your wool for hookin? I used to have the address and lost it. I just got back from Keystone, Co. and found a wonderful quilt shop out there that had tons and tons of needlepunch patterns! Wow! This was the first store in a few years that I had been in that had punching stuff. I am anxious to get busy with a hooking project. Lately, it has been quilting and beading projects and crocheting dishcloths for Christmas gifts. Dawn and I bought a ton of quilt fabric and tons of craft and quilt patterns, so I need to get my rear in gear and make gifts. I have made some really cool jewelry...classey neat stuff...can't believe how easy it is. Pam has been a wonderful teacher. She wants me to learn stain glass, but I am not 100% sold on the idea of learning that...but I haven't said "no" yet. Anyhow, please email me the wool site or place...the one with samples or any that are good.

Thanks Sher, have a great week! marti
